In July 2017, the alliance successfully closed the Making Periods Normal programme in the two districts of Munger and Bhagalpur in Bihar. We completed the recruitment and training of 815 women DLEs in at least 815 villages in the two districts. This comprised 264 DLEs in Munger and 552 DLEs in Bhagalpur. These DLEs have conducted the Dharma Life’s behaviour change campaigns under ‘Azaadi ke Pankh’ in their communities and distributed sanitary napkins with the help of a robust supply chain model.

In the period 2015-2017, these DLEs have together made a sale of more than 51,600 packs of sanitary napkins with access to more than 255,000 menstruating women and girls.
